Turgeon assisted me in finding a Berkshire Hathaway agent in Mississippi when I was looking for a house to purchase. He and Mr. Rhea worked together in find the perfect home for me.

As it turns out—this being New Orleans—he knew a lot of my friends from various circles and they all had great things to say about him. Chris sold our house so quickly, I don’t even know if a sign was put out. We left for Texas prior to sale and Chris took care of everything for us, along with the friend who recommended him. Chris was so incredible to work with. He put us immediately at ease and it felt like we had known him forever. He really made it seem that real estate is all about people, and understands that we were people selling our house to other people, and that it was important to us to sell to someone who would be good for the neighborhood and the neighbors we cared about for so many years. We sold our house in 2020 and it was a very difficult time, as it was for everyone. In addition to the pandemic and the lockdown, my father had just died, we had decided to sell everything and live full-time in an RV so that we could see remaining family more, our good friend became seriously ill and needed our help in Texas, and I was dealing with my own health issues. If it wasn’t the most stressful time of our lives, it was definitely in the top three. Chris made the preparation and sale of our house as easy as it possibly could be. (He even loaned us a weed-eater when ours broke!) His willingness to work with us, and to work with our friend in New Orleans who finalized things with our house so that we could go help in Texas, was an absolute godsend. I really don’t think any of this could have happened without Chris as our realtor. His patience and empathy were every bit as important to us as his know-how and professionalism. Chris is a great person who is great at his job. My husband and I both happily recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent realtor.

Chris has a type A personality, which is exactly what I needed in an agent, so I knew he was gonna keep us on task to get the house fixed up to list in a timely manner. There were a few times I got frustrated and called him up screaming like a crazed banshee, but he always talked me off the ledge, which isn't easy to do! In the end, we sold the house for the listing price, or close to it, and we're still friends!! Chris is awesome, which is exactly why I decided to work with him. Not only did he do a great job with the recommendations for fixing our house up, but he also recommended contractors to work in our house that did amazing work and were also friendly, trustworthy, and professional. All-in-all it was, it was a pretty smooth ordeal, considering the amount of stress we were going through. We decided after Hurricane Ida to sell our home of 20 years and move to Colorado. We had to put all of our belongings in storage to fix the house up, and we were still living in the house until the day we went to closing! We were literally taking last minute items out during the final walk through. It wasn't the ideal way to sell a house, but we did it! I'm glad Chris was able to get us as close to the fair market price as possible, and I'm glad the first time homeowner family that bought it from us got an awesome house!
